A submission to this week’s photo challenge: Unusual
Jakobsen’s Beach near Kigoma, Tanzania, lies on the shores of Lake Tangyanika near to the location where Stanley net Livingstone. However, it is particularly unusual for its mini herd of four zebra that wander the forest in and amongst the guest houses. There is no nearby safari park and the herd has made itself home in the forest and beaches.
What fun to see them in the wild and so close! I like the way the woman’s shirt mimics that zebras’ stripes in some of the shots.
