Flower Focus

One thing I am enjoying here in the U.K. has been the arrival of Spring / Summer flowers. Funnily enough the lack of seasonality in Tanzania means that flowers are quite sparse. The trees and bushes are in a continual state of bud, flower, seed, death but individual flowers are around for a short time and gone quickly, not helped by resident insects munching away.

Here in the U.K. there is more of a colour burst albeit for a shorter time. Then there are the potted plants which last the summer long.

This is also a submission to this week’s photo challenge : Focus.

  1. There are some amazing flowers and plants to be seen around at the moment. Many have so much intricate detail too, and the colours are so vibrant! Amazing creations!
